Hardwired Bed Pad Kit Fall detection Home Use
The BPLB Bed Pad (measures 760mm x 510mm) is positioned in the bed underneath the fitted sheet/ mattress protector at shoulder height. The Bed pad detects the removal of pressure and transmits this signal to the BME Monitor which will alert a carer via alarm or melody. The reset button on the monitor can be disarmed so that the use of a magnetic care giver key can be used in order to avoid the resident from cancelling a call in the event of them attempting to abscond from the bed. The alarm on the monitor is also able to be delayed so that a resident can move from the bed (ie, go to the toilet) however if the bed pad has not been activated within a 15 minute time frame will alarm.

The Hardwired Bed Pad Kit for home use is a simple and effective way of monitoring someone prone to falling whose being cared for in the home.
The hard wired bed pad is to an industry standard and is an unobtrusive way of detecting someone attempting to exit a bed. Connected to the monitor it will then alert via melody or alarm depending on the choice of the carer. Options for adding a wireless pager to alert the carer anywhere in the house is also available. By purchasing a chair pad sensor this monitor can also monitor “Out of Chair ” making it twice as practical and useful.
