Wireless Crash Mat Kit for Facility Use – Cura1 Cordless System for Nurse Call Integration

The Wireless Crash Mat Kit for facility use connects Cura1’s proven wireless fall-prevention technology directly into existing nurse-call systems.
Designed for residential aged-care, hospitals and assisted-living facilities, this complete kit provides wireless crash-mat monitoring with instant alerts through the nurse-call network—without needing a separate falls monitor or extra cabling.

This kit includes:

  • Cura1 Foldable Wireless Crash Mat (4114C)

  • Cura1 Wireless Crash Mat Transmitter (2698B)

  • Cura1 Wireless Multiport Receiver (2544)

What is the Wireless Crash Mat Kit for Facility Use?

This professional-grade kit allows care staff to receive automatic alerts through the facility’s nurse-call system whenever a resident steps or falls onto the crash mat. The Multiport Receiver (2544) plugs directly into the bedside call point, instantly converting the room into a wireless fall-monitoring zone.

The system supports up to five wireless Cura1 devices – including crash mats, bed pads and personal transmitters – plus one hard-wired sensor for maximum flexibility in multi-resident care.

How does it work?

  1. The Cura1 4114C Crash Mat is placed beside the resident’s bed or chair.

  2. The 2698B Transmitter connects to the crash mat’s 3-pin XLR plug.

  3. The 2544 Multiport Receiver plugs into the room’s nurse-call pendant socket.

  4. When the mat senses pressure, the transmitter sends a 433.92 MHz signal to the receiver.

  5. The receiver triggers the nurse-call system, alerting staff via the usual call display or corridor light.

No floor cables, no new wiring—just fast, cordless fall-prevention integrated with your existing infrastructure.
