Introduction

Safe Life is committed to providing high-quality products and services to its customers. This comprehensive repair policy outlines the terms and conditions under which Safe Life technicians may repair faulty or damaged products that are no longer covered by warranty. By requesting a repair, the customer acknowledges and agrees to the terms and conditions outlined in this policy.

Eligibility for Repair

Faulty or damaged products that are not covered under Safe Life’s warranty policy may be eligible for repair if the following conditions are met:

a) The product is a Safe Life product;

b) The product is not covered under warranty, or the warranty has expired;

c) The fault or damage is repairable by Safe Life technicians.

Repair Quotation and Approval

Once Safe Life receives the product and determines that it is eligible for repair, the customer will be sent a repair quotation. This quotation will be sent via email, fax, or post, as preferred by the customer. The quotation will include the estimated cost of the repair and the expected turnaround time for the repair work.

If the customer accepts the quotation, they must provide written approval and payment in full before any repair work commences. Safe Life will not begin repair work on a product until both the customer’s approval and payment have been received.

Repair Work

Upon receiving the customer’s approval and payment, Safe Life technicians will perform the necessary repair work on the product. The technicians will make every effort to complete the repair work within the estimated turnaround time provided in the quotation. However, Safe Life cannot guarantee that the repair work will be completed within the estimated timeframe, as unforeseen complications may arise during the repair process.

Post-Repair Warranty

Safe Life will provide a 90-day warranty on the repaired parts or components, starting from the date of repair completion. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship for the repaired parts or components only and does not extend to the entire product or any other components. The terms and conditions of Safe Life’s comprehensive warranty policy apply to this post-repair warranty.

Customer Responsibility for Freight Charges

The customer is responsible for all freight charges associated with sending the product to Safe Life for repair and returning the repaired product to the customer. Safe Life will not be responsible for any loss or damage to the product during shipping, and the customer is advised to use a reliable shipping carrier and obtain appropriate insurance coverage for the product.

Governing Law

This repair policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the product was purchased. Any disputes arising from or related to this policy shall be resolved through negotiation, mediation, or arbitration, as deemed appropriate by the parties involved.
