Protrac Id Wander Alert Transmitter
The Protrac Id Wander Alert Transmitter is part of the Protrac ID System.
Designed and manufactured in Australia, for aged care facilities and hospitals for 18 years.
Worn around the ankle or wrist with a hospital grade band.
Small and lightweight therefore suitable for young children and the elderly.
An alarm is raised through the nurse call system in the event that a resident approaches the preset area.
Without delay the wander alert antenna will send the alarm through to the nurse call system or surveillance system.
As a matter of fact the signal can quickly lock down a door without delay provided that access control is integrated.
Unlike other systems, the transmitter has a 3-5 year battery life.
This device will also send a low power signal every second for significant reliability.
The tag signal can pass through most non metallic materials (plaster walls, ceilings, brick, glass and timber) as a result the antenna can be concealed above a ceiling or behind a wall.
Rated at IP66 it can be worn in the shower or pool. Additionally it can also be chemically sterilised.
Each tag can simply be added to the system with up to 100 tags in use simultaneously.
